This record is yet another confirmation, if ever there was still need, how powerful the sound is Shakalab. To the production we find Princevibe for the part closest to Reggae and Gheesa for the pieces with an urban flavor, while the disc themes are the classic ones: from the love for resin marijuana to that for Dancehall and parties in "Dancehall Tiki" Taka ", a piece supported by a hardcore riddim, an ideal dimension for the Marcolizzo and BR1 twins who dispense style lessons and recall the Sud Sound System of the best times. The album runs fast without dips alternating with carefree pieces and revelers to tracks with lyrics engaged as "Serial Killer" and "Similar VS Similar" that is a current and clear photo of today's society, where as we are now reduced to fight similar against similar without scruple some. Even the ones are well calibrated, we find Agent Sasco in "From Sicily To Jamaica", the crooner Davide Shorty in "A Prima Vista" and Forelock in "Highlander" in what is one of the best tracks of the album. |
