NAPOLANGELES are a mix of Mediterranean and Black West Coast sounds. The protagonists are James
Thompson e Flavio Piscopo (http://www.napolangeles.com/) “Tale of two Cities”. Two musicians from different musical
extractions who create an interesting and spontaneous sound combining the Mediterranean rhythms and singing of Flavio with the breezy West Coast soul / jazz of James’ voice, sax and flute. NAPOLANGELES offers a fresh and open ended musical
experience; with their interloping styles and colors, they are a fresh sound and a musical voyage that shouldn’t be missed!
James Thompson is a singer, multi instrumentalist and songwriter. His main axes are tenor, alto and soprano sax, and flute.
He hails from Los Angeles, CA, and has lived in Italy since the ‘80’s. He is known for his partecipation in the recording studio and world tours with Zucchero Fornaciari as well as collaborations with Paolo Conte, Stadio, Spagna, Jestofunk, Timoria, Tommy Vee and others. |
