There are artists who follow the trends, fashions, and are quick to assimilate; there are others that these codes, these styles, create them. FRANCO MICALIZZI is among the latter. Composer, arranger and conductor, Micallef is one who has contributed like no other in Italy to the birth, development and revitalization of what has been dubbed Pulp Music, born back in the seventies thanks to films like The detective the cynical infamous violent band of the hunchback, Rome armed, violent Naples and many others, and re-evaluated after the worldwide success of Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino.
